Minutes
Present: Vice Chairman Glenn Suprono, Kyle Dostaler, Barbara Moore and George Pfaffenbach
Not Present: Chairperson Susan Weintraub, Ted Hintz, Jr. and Derek Johnson
Call to Order: ~Vice Chairman Suprono called the Public Hearing to order at 6:30 p.m. in the Chatham Acres Senior Housing Community Room.
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Project – Renovations at Chatham Acres Senior Housing:
Larry Wagner from L. Wagner Associates provided an overview of the CDBG grant process and projects that have been done with CDBG funds in the past. The last project was the Senior Center improvements. This grant is complete and has been fully expended. The State will be doing the monitoring of the grant and the final close out. There are no other open projects.
The Housing Authority will be applying for funds to do improvements to Chatham Acres Senior Housing including but not limited to replacing the roof, improvements to bathtubs, ranges, cabinets, ADA improvements and booster pumps. The Town of East Hampton will be applying for the grant on behalf of the Housing Authority.
Kelly Zeitlin, Chatham Acres, commented that she supports the improvements and feels it will make the units safer and residents can be independent for a longer time.
Nelson Maurice, Mallard Cove, commented in support of the improvements noting it will keep the property up to code.
Mr. Dostaler read the full resolution.
A motion was made by Ms. Moore, seconded by Mr. Pfaffenbach, to adopt the resolution presented for the Small Cities Program. The resolution will be attached to the minutes filed in the Town Clerk’s Office. Voted (4-0).

A motion was made by Ms. Moore, seconded by Mr. Pfaffenbach, to adjourn the Public Hearing at 6:45 p.m.
